Recruitment of Qualified Applicants

The Department of Public Safety Division of Parole and Probation recruits and hires the most qualified applicants for sworn and non-sworn positions. 

The Division's Human Resources Department actively participates in recruiting qualified applicants by attending career fairs, local events, and speaking at colleges and universities. Once an individual applies for a position with the Department of Public Safety, the Human Resources Department assists in guiding them through all aspects of the hiring process inclusive of the required tests, interviewing, background process, academy process, hiring paperwork, etc.
